Update: The Healthier Together consultation has now finished and in July 2015 the decision was to award Stepping Hill Specialist Status. I have visited Stepping Hill on a number of occasions to discuss its future and what Specialist Status and Health Devolution will mean going forward.
Residents have many great ideas about how their health services should be run. I am campaigning for Stepping Hill Hospital to become a specialist hospital once the 'Healthier Together' reorganisation of Greater Manchester's hospitals is completed. There are eight different options of hospital organisation, but only three would see Stepping Hill being a specialist hospital.I'm inviting local residents to back the local Conservatives campaign by signing this petition.
