I was pleased that the Government committed £24 million to support Manchester following the terrorist attack at the Manchester Arena last year. This includes money for the emergency services, social care, and mental health support.
It was great to meet Caroline & Debbie at No1 Copperpot Credit Union in Cheadle earlier today to hear about the financial support and services they provide to the Police Family.
This morning it was a pleasure to visit Stuarts Property Services in Cheadle, to meet their team and to discuss issues surrounding tenant fees and renting.
It was great to visit Stockport Jobcentre to meet such a positive team. Staff told me that they are reaching vulnerable people who they wouldn’t have reached in the past, meaning that long-term issues relating to poverty can begin to be addressed.
I was delighted to meet with Lord Nick Bourne and members from Cheadle Mosque in Parliament. We had an insightful discussion on the work they are doing in the community.

It was great to visit Bramhall High School On Friday 24th November to meet Headteacher Lynne Fox and Holly, Catherine and Natalie, dedicated members of the PTA setting up for the Christmas Fair the following day.
