I urge everyone at risk of getting flu to get their free vaccine before winter sets in. Last year 33,136 people missed out on protection last year across Stockport.
On Saturday 30th September, I joined residents and campaigners from across the community at the Pink Parade in Cheadle Hulme, in aid of Manchester based charity Prevent Breast Cancer’s “Paint Your Town Pink” fundraising initiative.
Today I attended the Stockport Local Plan consultation drop in for Bramhall and Cheadle Hulme South area at St Michael's Church, where I had the chance to talk to residents and the Leader of Stockport Council, Cllr Alex Ganotis.
I was delighted to judge at Bramhall Scarecrow Festival again this year and to support the Purple for Polio campaign. Thank you to Bramhall & Woodford Rotary Club for organising the festival, and I look forward to supporting this event again in the future!
It was great to drop in at the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints Fun Day today. Events like this provide a great way for children to get out and play and for communities to come together. Thank you to the Church for organising the day!
It was great to attend Cheadle Mosque Open Day again this year along with the Mayor of Stockport, Cllr Linda Holt. This is always a fun event and it was wonderful to see the community come together.
